So this year, I've been trying not only to read more but to keep a note of what I've been reading. I read books in so many formats (kindle, audiobooks and hard copy) and get them from many sources (Spotify Audiobooks, Borrow box through my local library, books from library and books I buy both brand new or second hand or from a library in a box at a local laundrette) that I find it hard to keep track of everything.
So, to keep a track of my books I've decided to keep a diary so that I can add into it not only the books I read but what the meal plan is for that week, what I've done in work, time off plans, some reflection on the week etc - I guess you could call it a journal but its just a diary that has room in it. I even have a special pen that I use for it (it has a rubber on the end so its great).
In January, I managed to read 4 books and listened to 2. I was half way through a 3rd audiobook but apparently it was too long and I now have to wait for Spotify to give me more credits to listen to it - so will add it to February's list. Of the above, I really liked the library series and I have a third to find. Lily Allen's autobiography was also great and I tend to only listen to autobiographies as I cant get round listening to proper books.
The books if you want to read them are:
Autobiographies
My Thoughts Exactly - Lily Allen
Undoctored - Adam Kay
Crime
The Mine- Rachel McClean & Joel Hames
Fantasy
The Library of the Unwritten Forgotten- A J Hackwith
The Archive of the Forgotten - A J Hackwith
Magical London
Taken by Benedict Jacka
What have you read so far this year? How do you keep a track of them?
