Good Friday..

..or we promised to take Carys to London so shall we go - Day 1 Camden town, Friday. Bloody busy at the stables so Carys and I left J and his stepdaughter and wandered down somewhere calmer Camden lock, chiller and not the busy bit Neal's Yard Covent Garden, smelled nourishing though expensive..  although Carys did take me into more expensive make up shops. Covent garden dinosaur. Made me smile. Thought it was animatronic apparently Carys saw feet!! End of the day pudding in Za Za's in Enfield, fab day had.

Mothering Sunday

Did you have a fab day yesterday? Did you put your feet up and not cook?  Or were you like a friend of mine dealing with both dog vomit and misbehaving kids - I mean she does have three boys under 10 and 2 dogs. The kids treated me to some lovely gifts  and although I find it hard to celebrate me when I cant celebrate my mum it was a lovely day. Afon came home for a few days pre mothers day and we went out for lunch, they then left and Carys treated me to lunch on her and bought me a necklace. Pictured below is Friday's lunch as I was so hungry that I ate Sunday's so quickly. I love my pins and I've added them to my coat Ffi

Books I've read February

I'm a bit behind on this, seeing as its now the 3rd week in March but you know I'm just tired and busy.  So apart from one autobiography its been a very detective based kind of month, I read these books on my kindle and I can go through one a day if really into it. The Light Remains by Rhys Dylan has been my favourite and I cant wait for the next one to come out. As you can see I tend to read all the series the same time but I am more than happy to jump back in. As you can see in an earlier post, I've joined a reading challenge this year and that is helping me read and listen to different genres.  Ffi
